Nowra Man Dies After Collision

A 57-YEAR-OLD Nowra man has died after an accident at Greenwell Point on Monday.

The man was driving a white Toyota van along Greenwell Point Rd when he collided with a white Toyota Hilux 4WD about 500m west of Pyree Rd.

The 34-year-old driver and a female passenger were trapped in the 4WD and had to be freed by emergency service personnel and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital.

The 57-year-old was also trapped and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital before being airlifted to Wollongong Hospital, where he died soon after. Investigations are continuing.
